Solve an architectural mystery from 1759 when the Mason family moved into Gunston Hall. Young detectives and their adult companions seek vital clues throughout the plantation. The story unfolds during a child-friendly tour of the house.
$9, adults; $6, for 6-12 years; $2, children 2-5 years. $25 Family Admission. Reserve a Sleuth tour for any day of the week for a group of ten or more at the rate of $5/child.
Teachers’ Day Out at Gunston Hall

Spend an informative and relaxing day at Gunston Hall devoted to the life and ideas of George Mason. Indulge in a specially-designed plantation tour, deepen your knowledge of Mason documents, and learn strategies for making the patriot come alive in your classroom.
$20 fee covers the program, related materials, and a continental breakfast. Reservations necessary.
Events do not require a reservation unless specifically stated. The calendar is subject to change. A 30-minute mansion tour is part of all public programs. Tours are offered from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
