Moreover, your tax-deductible gift helps support our mission to preserve, interpret, and promote Gunston Hall and to highlight George Mason’s significant contributions to human rights.

Thanks to generous private support, Gunston Hall is able to continue well-respected scholarship of George Mason and 18th-century Chesapeake life. Gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations enable us to operate the Museum, its educational activities, and public programs, as well as continue the care and conservation of the mansion, grounds, and our important collections of rare books and Mason family objects.
